Teresa L. Cannady is a development professional and licensed attorney with more than 30 years of professional experience in Central and Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States, providing management, training and technical assistance on legal reform, rule of law, women’s rights and human rights, and legal services. She has been actively engaged in the international development field for almost 25 years, helping countries develop legal systems and promoting women's legal rights. She is currently serving as a Justice, Rights and Security expert to USAID, through a consultancy with Nickol Global Systems.
